Location

The resort is located in the “noble” in Watamu, in the heart of the Watamu Marine Park , on the most prestigious beach, famous all over the coast of Kenya , ” Turtle Bay Beach” ; 29 Km from Malindi and 110 km . from Mombasa airport (about two hours).

Resort

Immersed in a natural park , it consists of a central area with :
a) reception , TV room , general store , clubhouse (indoor and outdoor ) , spa
b ) Restaurant , bar.
c) Huge pool with large sundeck

Beach and swimming area sea The ” Turtle Bay Beach” is widely considered to be the most beautiful beach of Watamu. CNN TRAVEL evaluated the most beautiful beaches of Watamu of ‘ Africa and has placed in the world ranking to 6th place .

Turtle Bay Beach also has a peculiarity : it is the only beach in Watamu where you can always take a bath, not affected by the phenomenon of the tides on the contrary, at low tide , it forms a ” soft white carpet ” only white sand, which winds its way from the shoreline to about 950 meters into the sea. At the sides are formed countless natural swimming pools , of all the deeper depth , from 30 to 150 cm .

This beach is located on the bay for Guests of Gecko Resort , equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds in ethnic style , free of charge. There , in the same area , a spa with effect from 10 pax ” jacuzzi ” and a relaxation pool .

Rooms

The Gecko Resort has 40 rooms ( Standard , Junior and Senior Suites ) , all immersed in the park of the ‘ core area . All are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer , mini fridge, safe, beds with mosquito netting, veranda / balcony.

Catering
The formula is SOFT ALL INCLUSIVE. The Gecko Resort has its own restaurant on site ; also resort guests can take advantage of the agreement ( 20% off ) with external following restaurants and bars:
