ARCHITECTURAL INSPIRATION 
The Swahili culture has produced one of the most distinctive buildings in all of Africa . Typical of the coast of Kenya and in particular the island of Lamu , is a reflection of the African model partially influenced by the style from the aesthetic and constructive Arab Middle East. 

The most peculiar aspect of the buildings Swahili is the pleasing sense of proportion. Its rounded lines , surfaces lightly colored natural dyes , environments designed to foster the air flow, the use of open spaces, large patios, courtyards and porches. The roofs mostly floors , alternating occasionally from shell, the makuti protect houses from the rain , but mostly from the sun. The Swahili architecture combines the decorative richness of Arabian stylesdevoid of floral ornaments, and the simple charm of geometric African styles with a greater sense of sophistication, complexity of art and cultural diversity.

THE PROJECT 
Kobe Suite Resort overlooks the magnificent beach of long beach in a privileged position within the Watamu Marine Park. The idea of the project is to create rooms open to nature, with indoor and outdoor spaces that interpenetrate and complement each other as well as Swahili architecture .

A natural park of frangipani and palm trees surrounding the area where will be built the suites at the resort. The pool will have a wonderful view of the ocean . Also will create several relaxation areas with outdoor seating and spacious with shade structures .

The restaurant will be built in the heart of the resort taking advantage of the large wooded park . An exclusive restaurant “crostaceria” will be carried out on the terrace, where you can enjoy a view of the crystal clear waters of the endless starry day and at night.

The Kobe Resort has been designed respecting the harmony of the natural landscape that surrounds him without neglecting the details in order to give a magical time to future guests.
